Amy Leeson, a DonorsChoose.org donor from Phoenix, Arizona, was recently featured on her local news station talking about DonorsChoose.org!  She wrote into the station to let them know about a classroom request that Mr. H., a science teacher at Peoria High School, had created at DonorsChoose.org.

Amy and the camera crew from KPHO CBS 5 News visited the classroom.  Amy met with the teacher and students, and shared why she cared about supporting their classroom, “our nation needs to invest in the education of our young people, and especially students who are studying science and engineering.”

You can see the clip on KPHO CBS 5 News’s website.  And you can see other science projects that science teacher, Mr. H., has waiting for funding on DonorsChoose.org.
