As many of you know, Build-A-Bear Workshop has been a big supporter of DonorsChoose.org in the past, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for their support.  Now they are beginning a new campaign to engage their customers in helping fund classroom projects across the nation.  From August 16 through September 6, the company is inviting its guests to donate $1 at checkout registers to benefit DonorsChoose.org classroom projects.  So go to your local Build-A-Bear Workshop store and after you are done making your new furry friend, please consider making a donation to help kids learn…and tell your friends!

  • I am so glad to see Build-A-Bear partnering with DonorsChoose! My classroom is receiving so many opportunities this year through DonorsChoose, for which I am very grateful. A Build-A-Bear just opened up close to us at Peninsula Town Center in Hampton, VA and my daughter has been pleading to go. This gives me a perfect excuse to visit ;) Thank you Build-A-Bear and DonorsChoose!

  • What a wonderful way for a business to share their profits toward a worthy cause & much needed financial support to classroom teachers! On behalf of my students and I, a heartwarming THANKS & KUDOS goes to ALL OF YOU ~ Build-A-Bear Workshop!!!

Believe you me, as a teacher who has one funded project and another one called,”600 Hours or Read 100 Books Challenge” that NEEDS funding within 17 days to deadline, my students & I have experienced & had observed much reading progress with the books purchased through donors.choose.org.

As I had mentioned, I have 17 days until my proposed project’s funding is due. If you have any interest & would like to contribute, please do so. How about checking this out my READING project, http://www.donors.choose.org/Ms.Lola?

    With much affection,

    Ms. Sissie Lola, M.A.
