Teachers, citizen philanthropists, and DonorsChoose.org fans: ever had a burning question about how our founder, Charles Best, got DonorsChoose.org started? Or maybe you’re curious about his annual attempt at mustache growing? Well, now’s your chance to ask him, thanks to the Huffington Post & HP! Visit the Huffington Post to submit questions for Charles (You can even call him Charlie – he swears he doesn’t mind.). The “doers” who inspire the most questions will then be interviewed by the Huffington Post. You guys think Charles is more interesting than Ashton Kutcher, right?!
You should also check out HP’s call for entries for individuals who want to do something amazing. We know a lot of teachers who fall into that category! Submit your idea for a chance to win $25,000 in HP products and services. The submission period ends on June 6 so get those great stories in ASAP! Visit www.huffingtonpost.com/hpamazing to get started – and good luck!

As soon as Donors Choose posted this I wrote what I was doing in the classroom with HP and posted it. Thanks for letting us know. DC and HP helped me secure a SmartTouch for a student with cerebral palsy. I would love the same computer for each of my special needs students – here’s hoping.

just wanted you to know I tried to redeem my gift card and also purchase a gift card for my sister’s birthday and donate to another classroom … the site wouldn’t let me saying I couldn’t purchase a gift card with a gift card . The original gift card was for $100 … my gift card was for $50 and the other donation was for $100 …. I am not sure what happened !?
