For any of you who participated in the DonorsChoose.org Social Media Challenge, you already know that HP is a strong supporter of teachers and students. Now, our heroes at HP are partnering with DonorsChoose.org to bring technology resources to public school classrooms!
Thanks to HP’s generosity, teachers across the country who submit classroom projects that request only HP products will be eligible for a “Double Your Impact” match. Any project posted to DonorsChoose.org that meets the above criteria will receive 50% funding via this offer once other donors choose to join in and fund the rest of the project. Funding will be spent on a first come, first served basis until the grant is spent out.
So, for all you teachers who have been dreaming of an HP printer or scientific calculators for your students, or if you just need to replace some HP ink cartridges to create more tangible learning experiences, now is the perfect time to submit your project idea! To get started and take advantage of this great offer, submit your HP technology project at www.donorschoose.org/teachers. Teachers, for the best and most up-to-date selection of HP products, try Quill and CDW. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, try one of our other vendors, such as Best Buy. Big thanks to HP for helping us to bring learning to life!

I had three HP projects funded and I cannot thank you enough. The Touch Screen computers are making such an impact on my students education. You should see my student with cerebral palsy light up everytime she gets on her Touch Screen and my students with Autism love to use their Touch Notebook with the Blue Tooth Headphones to block out noise while they work. I wish I had a way to connect with a University and let them know how much this has changed the lives of my students. We need more research in this area.
