My first project was funded! Once the art supplies arrive after the first of the year, my students will get busy creating their masterpieces. In the mean time, please consider helping us fund our field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. My students have been busy learning about a variety of topics that can be supported by a trip to the museum. They have studies the formation of the earth, plate tectonics, natural features of the earth, natural selection, and extinction just to name a few topics. Next semester, they are going to learn about various civilizations that inhabited the Americas as well as astronomy. It just so happens that the special exhibit at the museum is on the Maya! My students rarely get to travel beyond western Nebraska. I need your help to show them there is an entire world out there for them to explore!
