My first grade students have a love of books. They enjoy visiting the library and checking out books, reading books from my classroom library and listening to me read aloud during story time. We live in central Illinois and attend a school of approximately 250 students. Our class currently has 24 students, 3 of which are English as a Second Language students. Our school has a large poverty rate, and our students are always looking for variety and resources that they do not have at home.
