My kids are from tough backgrounds but they still love school! School for my kids, it is a getaway from whatever is going on at home. I have students that moved around every couple of months. It is very tough for those children to feel comfortable and make friends because they know in a couple of weeks they are on to the next school. At my school, we offer a safe and loving environment where learning is possible.
