My previous project helped students to improve on their reading ability and got them excited about reading by allowing them to dig into the wonderful world of music! The bean bag chairs were comfortable seating when reading to make it feel more like home. Speakers helped students to hear better when identifying and analyzing pieces of music and helped me as their teacher to provide a wider variety of music resources due to the speaker Bluetooth capabilities. All of these items made learning more fun and helped increase students' knowledge of music and the classroom atmosphere! My new project is to provide an inclusive learning environment for all learners including our special needs/autistic students with varied seating and things to help keep them focused during instruction. My goal is that every student truly enjoys music in a learning environment unique to them.
