My students are full of energy and often get up to get a new pencil simply because they need to move around and their desks are uncomfortable. The questions I hear most often in my classroom are, "Can we work around the room?," "Can we do a GoNoodle?," and "Do we have to sit at our desks?" In the winter when it's questionable whether or not we will get to go outside the questions come up even more often as we struggle with the lack of free movement.
