I work as a school counselor in Ohio with 600 hundred students in grades K-5. I work in a very low economic school district with a majority of students coming from single parent or divorced homes. All 600 of my student are very loving and receptive individuals. They are little sponges that soak up everything their teachers instruct them on. Due to many of their troubled home lives, I think it is very important to teach them values in life, specifically how powerful a random act of kindness can be.
