The future of design is about 3D printing objects as you need them. My students would like to be a part of that future and the skills they are learning are getting them there, mostly. Currently, they stop at computer models, because we do not have a way to print out what they have designed. I would like to change this! The district is a hardworking community, and there are many in need, 50% of students in my building qualify for free or reduced lunch. My students have dreams of creating, there are students that want to design their own business, students that want to design fashion, and students that want to design cars. All of them would love to be able to create their ideas, to be able to hold them and see how they would really work!
